Blount Chamber Announces Job Fair for March 22

The Blount County Chamber of Commerce, working off its mission statement to promote economic growth, is hosting a job fair sponsored by Blackberry Farm, M Force Staffing, Pellissippi State Community College and Staffing Solutions on Thursday, March 22 from 2-6 p.m. at the Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee building located at 136 Harvest Lane in Maryville.

 

Anyone looking for a job or wanting career development opportunities is invited to attend. The event is open to the public and there is no charge to attend. In addition to full and part-time positions, this job fair is designed for internships and service opportunities as well.

 

“This is a great opportunity for potential employees to meet one-on-one with area companies or for anyone wanting to further their career,” said Blount Partnership Workforce Development Director Jessica Belitz. “We will have a variety of exhibitors offering full-time or part-time employment.”

 

Any business or company interested in participating can reserve booth space which includes one eight-foot table, two chairs and table linens if needed. The fee is $160 for Blount Chamber members and $210 for non-members.
