The Job Board
The Economic Development Board works with the Chamber, local government and regional/state economic agencies to bring new industries to the area. The board’s efforts are global in scope and attract national and international organizations. As an arm of county and city government, the board is jointly funded by the county and the cities of Alcoa and Maryville.

Getting your business in front of the right people is easier than you think. All members automatically receive the following business exposure opportunities.
Advertising in Publication
The Blount Chamber's membership directory and lifestyle book, Livablity Blount County, is published annually and is distributed in August of each year. For advertising information in the Livablity Blount County publication, contact Jeff Muir.
Listing on Website
All Chamber members are listed in the business directory and can be found by the name of business, business category. The Blount Chamber offers free links to member websites. The Chamber website receives more than 10,000 visitors each month. Fee-based advertising is available for members who want to maximize their exposure. Referrals
The Blount Chamber promotes its members at every opportunity, including member referrals and exposure in the Chamber lobby/welcome center. The Blount Chamber staff refers only Chamber members. The only exception is when a request for a particular service or product is not offered by a Chamber member. The Chamber Board of Directors, the Chamber staff and members are encouraged to do business with Chamber members only.
Brochure and business cards in lobby
Members can get the attention of thousands of tourists, relocates and business people who walk in the Chamber lobby/welcome center each year by displaying brochures and/or business cards in the reception area. Members, next time you're at the Chamber, drop off your brochures/cards at the reception desk.
