The Blount County Chamber of Commerce provides strong business advocacy on legislation and regulatory issues affecting local businesses. The Chamber of Commerce understands the importance of a unified business voice on issues that impact our members. The Chamber continues an ongoing effort to identify issues and advocate on behalf of business interests at the local, state, and federal levels.

Long-standing relationships allow the Blount County Chamber to strategically partner with elected officials, staff, and other business organizations to serve as a respected stakeholder that strives to find balanced solutions to complex issues while advocating for a strong local economy.

The Chamber’s public policy committee is advocating for businesses and a healthy business environment in Blount County, and at the state and federal levels.

The Chamber hosts a series of government forums to connect members with elected officials.

The Chamber endorses business friendly candidates at the local and state level and evaluates ballot issues that impact businesses.
