2011 Business Excellence Award Winners

2011 Awards

A total of 21 individuals and businesses were honored Sept. 15 at the Clayton Center for the Arts as the Blount Partnership announced its Business Excellence Award winners for 2011. Nominations and supporting information were gathered online and via mail before being presented to the selection committee.

Nearly 300 local business leaders and government officials were on hand as Bob Kesling, the voice of the Tennessee Volunteers, served as emcee. "This was a real special event as the brightest and hardest working business leaders in Blount County received a special honor," said Bryan Daniels, President/CEO Blount Partnership. "To see the support given by local businesses which sponsor the awards really speaks to what they mean to the recipients. All of the nominees are to be commended for their service to the community and we look forward to seeing their names on the plaques next year."

The 2012 program will once again be held at the Clayton Center for the Arts on Sept. 20. If you wish to
sponsor this evening event, please contact Tammi Ford at 865.983.2241
