Getting your business in front of the right people is easier than you think.  All members automatically receive the following business exposure opportunities.

Listings in Publications

The Blount Chamber's membership directory and lifestyle book  -- Basically Blount -- is published annually and is distributed in February of  each year. Chamber members are listed in this publication alphabetically and categorically. Listings in this directory are free for members but there are fee based ad opportunities for those who want additional exposure. Additionally, a companion book to the directory is printed and distributed at the same time as the Basically Blount publication.  The smaller travel directory is convenient to carry in your car or briefcase and members are encouraged to refer to the directories when looking for vendors or people with which to do business.  For advertising information in the Basically Blount publication, contact Tammi Ford at tford@blountchamber.com.

Each year Blount County's two local newspapers publish and distribute special sections focused on the Blount Chamber and its members.

• The Daily Times special publication is published in the late Spring and reaches 22,000 households through subscription and boasts more than 50,000 readers.
• The Blount Today special publication is distributed in early fall and prints and distributes 25,000 copies.

Listing on Website

All Chamber members are listed on the Chamber website www.blountchamber.com in the business directory and can be found by the name of business, business category or by telephone number. The Blount Chamber offers free links to member websites and Mapquest makes finding our member's location effortless. The Chamber website receives more than 10,000 visitors each month. Referrals

The Blount Chamber promotes its members at every opportunity including member referrals and exposure in the Chamber lobby/welcome center.  The Blount Chamber staff refers only Chamber members. The only exception is when a request for a particular service or product is not offered by a Chamber member. The Chamber Board of Directors, the Chamber staff and members are encouraged to do business with Chamber members only.

Members can get the attention of thousands of tourists, relocates and business people who walk in the Chamber lobby/welcome center each year by displaying brochures and/ or business cards in the reception area.  Members, next time you're at the Chamber, drop off your brochures/cards at the reception desk.
