Ambassador Program
The Ambassador's act as an outreach group to Blount County Chamber of Commerce members. They are the liaison between the Chamber Board and staff and its members. Ambassadors are member volunteers who are trained to know the organization and share that information with others in order to help members get the most out of all that the Chamber has to offer.
This group consists of members from diverse businesses. Most participants represent businesses that are service oriented. Ambassadors are members who are self motivated, enjoy networking, and support the Chamber and its mission.
Ambassador responsibilities:
- Attend monthly Ambassador meetings
- Make calls on existing Chamber members encouraging their participation in Chamber activities
- Serve as greeters at coffees/mixers
- Assist in membership retention
- Facilitate networking
Goals of the Ambassador Program:
- To add a "personal touch" to Chamber membership
- To assist in retaining members
- To help members maximize their membership benefits
- To create lasting connections between members
Ambassador Benefits:
- Expand your personal network
- Increase your company's visibility
- Recognition for Ambassadors of the month and Ambassador of the year.
