The Best of Blount Awards are headed to the Airport Hilton on February 2, 2024, for an evening of live entertainment, dinner and dancing, and awards honoring the best of our community from 2023.

Anyone looking for a job or wanting career development opportunities is invited to attend. The event is open to the public and there is no charge to attend. In addition to full and part-time positions, this job fair is designed for internships and service opportunities as well.

Come to the Peaceful Side of the Smokies in Blount County for Summer on Broadway June 21-22, 2024, a series of outdoor events to celebrate the region and season.

Hops in the Hills

Hops in the Hills Craft Beer Festival is set against the beautiful backdrop of the Smokies on June 24, 2024. Attendees can sample regional craft beer from the area’s best breweries. The festival’s location in the Maryville Greenway Amphitheater will allow extra space for games, lounging and live music.

Festival price includes tastings, food, official event t-shirt and great live music.

Great Smoky Mountains Hot Air Balloon Festival

Join us this August 17, 2024, for a summertime spectacle, when professional balloonist light up the evening sky with a beautiful balloon glow and spectacular tethered rides. The sky will be filled with a spectrum of color like never before, against a backdrop of a breathtaking Tennessee Smoky Mountain sunset, in beautiful Townsend, Tennessee!

Ticket holders can try savory favorites from local restaurants, caterers and gourmet grocers in addition to voting for their favorite appetizer, main course, sandwich, dessert, beverage, presentation and overall winner.

Townsend Fall Festival

The foothills of the Smoky Mountains come to life with Bluegrass music, arts and crafts, time honored traditions and Appalachian cooking at the Townsend in the Smokies Fall Festival, Sept. 27-28, 2024. The festival provides an atmosphere where family and friends of all ages can partake in time-honored Appalachian traditions at a free community event.

Long Table Community Dinner

Bridging the best of a community is the idea behind the Long Table Community Dinner featuring four local chefs preparing seasonal dishes in a four-course meal with wines from Empire Distributing. Presented by the Blount Partnership, the dinner takes place on the Maryville Greenway – Library Bridge.

Eighth Grade Career Fair

Opening the eyes of middle school students to potential careers is the focus of the Blount County Career Exploration Fair. Presented by the Blount Partnership, the event introduces rising high school students to business leaders and employers while giving them brief hands-on experiences as they ponder potential career paths with local companies.

Coffee Club

Wake up to new business contacts at a monthly Coffee Club held the last Thursday of every month. Coffees are designed to offer our members the opportunity to build business relationships with other members and to gain exposure for their business or organization in an “open house” setting. Coffees are open to anyone associated with a Chamber member business. Participation is not reserved to the representative(s) listed on the Chamber membership.
