Event Planning: Help plan or volunteer the many events put on by the Blount Partnership. Help is always needed and appreciated. It’s also agreat way to make contacts.
Government Briefings: Engage local, state and federal governments through briefings. You'll receive legislative email alerts and will be invited to the Day on the Hill legislative trip to Nashville.
Human Resources Focus Group: Learn about the latest issues affecting your workplace from specialists in the employment law area. Plan and sponsor the Annual Supervisor's Training event. Meets Quarterly.
Information Updates: You may choose to receive valuable information on important issues impacting your business from sources available.
Operation Thank-You: Meet fellow members while doing a good deed. Volunteer to deliver Chamber Member information packets and make great contacts along the way. Help as much, or as little as your time permits. Deliveries are made in March.
Transportation Committee: Hear local community leaders and TDOT discuss current transportation projects and help shape policy decisions for the Chamber. Quarterly meetings, but may include additional called meetings.
Volunteers in Progress: Power up your membership with an additional membership fee and become a VIP of economic development. VIPs gain valuable exposure through exclusive business and social events.
Women in Business Focus Group: Build new relationships and share best practices with your sisters in business during quarterly lunch meetings.
Workforce Development: Work with education professionals and employers to identify key areas concerning workforce development and implement programs to better equip our community with a qualified workforce.
Young Professionals: This group focuses on the challenges and concerns of young entrepreneurs trying to make their way in the business world.
