Three Time Bluegrass Music Entertainers of the Year come to Clayton Center

Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent had all the qualifications to develop one of the most entertaining shows taking stages today. Their partnership became one of the most applauded acts in the bluegrass community only a year after forming in 2008. Dailey was a lead vocalist for Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver for nine years, while Vincent played mandolin and guitar alongside Grammy-winning Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder for more than a decade.  Dailey & Vincent, their first album in 2008 debuted at #2 and remained in the top 10 for 40 weeks. Their album, Brothers from Different Mothers hit #1 on the Billboard Top Bluegrass Albums chart and remained in the top 5 for 12 weeks. 

Five years later, they have continued the climb to become one of the most sought after acts in the genre. An act whose talent and star power, have led to performances and collaborations with some of the greatest talents, on some of the biggest stages, exposing their music to hundreds of new fans each week. 

They each draw from a musical upbringing, stints with prominent artists and celebrated recordings. Dailey & Vincent have received over 30 Awards and named International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) “Entertainers of the Year” for three consecutive years. With Grammy, IBMA, Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America (SPBGMA) nominations and Dove awards, they keep garnering praise from their peers, fans, and media.
