Parking Passes on Sale for Townsend Spring Festival and Old Timers Day May 4-5
4/10/2012
For the first time ever, reserved parking passes are being offered for the two-day Townsend Spring Festival and Old Timers Day, May 4-5, at the Townsend Visitor’s Center.
The $5 pass offers a savings of $3 off the regular daily parking rate. Passes may be ordered online or picked up at the Blount County Chamber of Commerce Office at 201 S. Washington St., in Maryville or at the Townsend Visitor’s Center, 7906 E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy. Online orders will be taken until April 25 in order to be processed and mailed.
“We think this an excellent opportunity for people to have the convenience of having a guaranteed parking space,” said Bryan Daniels, Blount Partnership President/CEO. “The musical lineup and non-stop activities along with the variety of food will make this an event the whole family will enjoy.”
