Multiple Artisans to display wares at Townsend Visitors Center

Maryville, Tenn. – Many talented local artisans are set to display their wares in the Townsend Visitors Center exhibit hall located at 7906 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway in Townsend, Tenn. Beginning Sept. 1 through Sept. 13, exhibitors will demonstrate their crafts, which include stained glass, paintings and woodworking. A complete listing is below.

September 1-3
Stained Glass – Larry and Paula McLain
Larry and Paula McLain will be demonstrating stained glass making and exhibiting their beautiful pieces. They make various pieces and wind chimes. They reside in Walland, Tenn.
September 4-8
Art Exhibit – Randy White
Woodcrafts – Charles Goosie
Randy White is an artist whose paintings reflect the areas of Cades Cove and Smoky Mountains in watercolors and oils. He has originals and prints available. He also carves walking sticks. He is a native of Maryville, Tenn., and works part-time at the Visitors Center.
Charles T. Goosie makes various woodcrafts, such as wooden toys, brain teasing games and other various items. He is a resident of Tallassee, Tenn.
September 9-13
Art Exhibit – Roma McCammon
Roma McCammon is an artist whose paintings reflect the areas of Cades and Smoky Mountains in acrylics. Roma will demonstrate her artistic talent. She has originals and prints available. She also paints on bottles, cans, and wooden signs. Roma resides in Maryville, Tenn.
